At Celvian, we design our apparel with high-quality materials to support performance, comfort, and durability. To maintain the best condition of your clothing, follow these care instructions to prevent shrinking, fading, or fabric damage.
1️. General Washing Instructions
Proper washing techniques help extend the lifespan of your activewear:
✅ Use Cold Water – Wash at a maximum of 30°C (86°F) to prevent fabric wear.
✅ Turn Garments Inside Out – Protect prints, logos, and delicate materials.
✅ Use Mild Detergents – Harsh chemicals can weaken fibers and cause fading.
✅ Wash Similar Colors Together – Prevent color bleeding and staining.
✅ Avoid Fabric Softeners – They can break down moisture-wicking properties.
✅ Use a Gentle Cycle – Reduces stretching and fabric stress.
Tip: For heavily soiled garments, pre-soak in cold water with a mild detergent before washing.
2️. Drying & Ironing Guidelines
🚫 Do Not Use a Tumble Dryer – Heat can shrink and weaken technical fabrics.
✅ Air Dry Only – Lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight.
🚫 Avoid Wringing – Twisting fabric can damage elasticity.
✅ If Ironing is Needed – Use low heat and avoid direct contact with prints or logos.
Tip: Hanging clothing in a well-ventilated area speeds up drying and prevents wrinkles.
3️. Special Care for Specific Fabrics
Cotton-Based Clothing (T-Shirts, Hoodies, Sweatpants)
- Wash in cold water to prevent shrinkage.
- Air dry to maintain softness and shape.
Performance & Activewear (Leggings, Sports Bras, Compression Wear)
- Avoid fabric softeners as they reduce moisture-wicking ability.
- Lay flat to dry to maintain elasticity.
Synthetic Fabrics (Polyester, Nylon, Elastane Blends)
- Use a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
- Avoid excessive heat to prevent melting or warping.
Delicate Items (Mesh Panels, Seamless Wear, Printed Apparel)
- Place in a wash bag for extra protection.
- Avoid rough surfaces that can cause snags.
Tip: Always check the care label on each product for specific washing instructions.
4️. Stain Removal Tips
Accidents happen—here’s how to treat common stains before they set:
- Sweat Stains: Soak in cold water with baking soda before washing.
- Oil & Grease: Apply dish soap, gently rub, and rinse with cold water.
- Mud & Dirt: Let it dry completely, brush off excess dirt, and wash as usual.
- Deodorant Marks: Rub the fabric together or use a damp cloth before washing.
Avoid bleach, as it can damage fabric fibers and discolor garments.
5️. Storage & Long-Term Care
- Fold Instead of Hanging – Prevents stretching, especially for activewear.
- Store in a Cool, Dry Place – Avoid direct sunlight and humidity to prevent fading.
- Use Cedar Blocks or Sachets – Helps prevent odor buildup in stored clothing.
